I'm FULL!

If you've seen that Taco Bell commercial you know the line... "I'm Full!" If I was as savy and gifted as my father I could turn that line into a devotional thought equipped with clever layers of humor.

But, it is just a segway to say that, "I am happy."

Here are a few thoughts on being happy:

I don't think that the point of life is to be happy, but I really like being happy.

Now I have been know to be FULL of it sometimes. The way I eat I tend to get FULL way to late. I have felt FULL when I go to a class or meeting that overgives too much useless information. I am FULL of ___________. Easy!!

We don't know light unless we know darkness. We don't know defeat until we know the Lions...what?

My point is, we don't really know the meaning of full unless we've experienced empty. Being full is a good thing...depending on what you're full of.
If full is bringing happiness, keep eating because we're all supposed to be happy, right?

Full on!

"So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun." Ecc. 8:15

Now, if you're reading the Wesleyan Bible, I think it just says to "Eat and be happy." Either way, maybe the point of life is just to enjoy the life God have us? Perhaps Christians would be more credible if they enjoyed life a little more often? Wait, am I on crack again?

Hey there, Deurt...

My lame-o head shot on the top of your blog is creeping me out. I want to sign the "bring back the argyle sweater pic of Steve" petition.
