I am beginning the amazing journey of preparing for New Zealand. There is a lot to do:
1. Figure out what to pack and pack it
2. Prepare messages for a variety of environments
3. Bring additional resources for anything that may pop up
4. Make sure everything is taken care of back here for while I'm away
5. Organize my prayer team
6. And other stuff that I can't even think about until I've gotten to the day!!!!! :)

Wednesday I get to speak at Spring Arbor University. Going back to my roots.

Spent the day with my family and extended family at my folks. They live across the street from a park and a beach on Lake Michigan. We hung out under the blazing sun and I got burned. I went and picked up hot dogs and stuff for Sunday morning. It will be fitting to gather and worship God, the ultimate freedom giver, on the fourth of July. Have a great weekend! Working today on the garage sale for tomorrow. Tonight Vic and I are heading to Outback Steakhouse to use some gift certificates from Christmas! I can't believe it took so long to use them! HELP! :) Played golf last night and played poorly. It was my first time out and I was rusty, but I also kept thinking my bad knee would bust open during my swing...
