103

Vicki's grandfather passed away this weekend at the ripe old age of 103 and a half.
He was born in 1904. Imagine what he saw in his life...
He was too young for World War 1 and too old for World War 2.

James Sergent was a great man of faith, family, and faithfulness.

103 sounds good to me,

My condolences. I haven't had any grandparents for some time now, and every once in a while I will remember one and smile. In my experience grandparents have been truly wondrous people that were always full of fun, laughter and wisdom. Even though I don't think of them on a daily basis anymore they are still strong in my memories. May Vicki's Grandfather be a strong presence in her memories for a long time to come.

103! Wow! Sometimes I wonder if I would even want to go that long. (Most of the time I come to the conclusion... YES) I hate the idea of missing out on something. And with all the entertainment and media wired to our houses these days you would always have ways to entertain yourself. Of course... The catch 22 here is that if you enjoy sitting on your butt watching TV then you probably aren't going to make it to 103. (Gotta be active to live that long.)

Sorry again for your loss. May we all live to 103 and more.
