A Proverb a day...

I am enjoying reading through the book of Proverbs this month. There are 31 chapters in Proverbs and 31 days in March = one a day.

If you want to get some wisdom for life - Proverbs is a great book to read. It is quick, concise, and helpful.

Do you have a favorite Proverb that isn't actually a Proverb?
You know... ones like:
"Cleanliness is next to godliness."
"If you don't have anything nice - don't say anything at all."
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away."

i have a few -- from my dad. here we go!

-- If you are player poker and you don't know who the sucker is ... it's you!

A wise man learns from others' mistakes.

-- Don't take a knife to a gunfight.

-- In a public restroom, Always use in the urinal farthest away since it gets the least use and you'll stand in less pee.

Spent the day with my family and extended family at my folks. They live across the street from a park and a beach on Lake Michigan. We hung out under the blazing sun and I got burned. Working today on the garage sale for tomorrow. Tonight Vic and I are heading to Outback Steakhouse to use some gift certificates from Christmas! I can't believe it took so long to use them!
