Come on feel the noize!

Vicki and I had such a great time going to The Police concert earlier this year that it made me want to go to more concerts...

There are a lot of bands I would love to see come to Grand Rapids...
U2, The Killers, Duran Duran, etc...

So, how about you? What band would you like to come to the area so you can see them? (assuming you could afford the tickets)

Please no country,
sd

I would love to see Rush and experience AC/DC, but I'm kind of a euro-wuss in my music tastes...

Any other thoughts from the rest of you?

Neil Young would be a starter for an oldie like me :) Cat Stevens, Sly and the Family Stone, and oh yes, Aretha and anyone with some Motown, supremes, Fred Hammond, then uh.. Jason Upton, who by the way was here a couple of years ago but I didn't get to see him.

Selah was at the waterfront two years ago and that was a warm blanket from Jesus.

Hey GraceFlyer... Aren't all those people dead by now? LOL...

I would just love the time and money to go see any concert.

I guess if I had to choose a few...
Van Halen (with David Lee), Rush, YES, Led Zepplin, Kiss (with makeup), Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, or just about any larger than life 80's hair band.

ROCK AND ROLL AIN'T NOISE POLLUTION!

I'd love to see the original Guns N Roses... not the buckethead version.

I'd like to see "the professors" as long as Wade was playing and in town. Then we'd kidnap him and make him stay. :)

You wouldn't have to make me stay..if I make it back home..I'm stayin'!!
I always wanted to see Dick Dale or possibly Agent Orange. Back in the day it would've been The Doors and Led Zep. U2 at the Silverdome Joshua Tree tour was awesome and The Stones were pretty cool too!!

O.K....seeing Heart would make my life complete. Followed by Stryper and Guns-n-Roses with a rousing finish with anything by Chicago...as long as Peter Cetera sings....and to think I am a professional musician...don't tell anyone. Stryper isn't exactly an actual reputable band..but the memories...ahhh the memories...

Speaking of Flavs - I did have an opportunity to see Public Enemy open up for U2 back in the Auchtung Baby tour. They were great and I was a fan (as you know Heather).
